I bought this and thought I may put it on my 99 VFR as it's shorter than my Two Brother's Racing pipe, but I'm having second thoughts, as I would have to have a custom midpipe made, as the inlet is 60mm. What price do you think I should ask for it? It's brand new, but no mid pipe. Online, I have seen prices vary from $570-$700, obviously with the pipe and strap.

    Ideas?

    Am I asking too much?

I assume you are talking about just the muffler, right?

Why would anyone pay $570 for a 2bro, when you can get a brand new 14 in Delkevic Carbon Fiber can for $215?

It's a LeoVince, not Two Bro and I don't know if the Delkevic is made for Aprilia, probably tho. I don't know if there is a difference in exhaust flow in any of these cans when measured side by side.

Mostly just appropriately sized stainless tubing and a mandrel bender. Or, some various pipe pieces and really cool welding, which always comes out so beautiful.

The quality of two brothers, even more so leo vince, is light years above delkivic. That's why people pay more for them. I think the reason why they have any following on VFR's at all, is its really hard to make a vfr800 sound bad, even a $20 pep boyz tip will sound good on a vfr800. Now a vfr1200 on the other hand.... lol I think frugal people are drawn to the VFR800, because they are so durable, they are a decent investment. Thats why we have so many people running ebay mufflers on these bikes.
