Leather Pants Search

I'm interested in getting leather pants. But, it appears what I want is what I can't get.

I'd prefer perforated leather pants that are light-colored (white, bone, gray, or silver preferred). For the simple reason that lighter colors are cooler in summer. But, Googling for a day came up with no good leads.

I see the women have color choices - but I don't think I'd fit into anything that is offered.

I see various 2-piece leather race outfits; those could work, but I don't see where the pants can be purchased separately.

I see mesh pants come in all kinds of colors, so why not leather for guys?

Am I missing something, or do I have a choice of "any color so long as it's black"?

Those custom suits seem impressive. They certainly have favorably impressed some users (you'd think Tony Stark created these outfits when they describe the result of various get-offs).

I'd be willing to pay a premium price for protective clothing. If the prices shown are the final tally (I hope they're not adding charges for each option!).

Whatever the case, I'm currently recovering my health but haven't recovered much of the weight I lost (these leathers are going to have to be used for more than one year). So, when I know that's stabilized I could be in that market.


I haven't seen quite what I'm looking for with AlpineStars, et. al. I'll keep looking.


Howzabout this for a temporary fix: Get off-the-shelf perforated black leather pants, but wear a porous light colored fabric over them on sunny days. Maybe?

$470 for the Z customs are pretty cheap for something you can get that exactly fits you and your color scheme... ZCustom rocks!
