Hello and welcome to the forum! Glad to have you. Where are you located at?

Many members have re-geared their bikes and love that they did. As long as you don't mind the increased buzzing at freeway speeds. I am sure that you are aware that dropping one tooth on the front, would be like adding 2-3 teeth on the rear. You are going to get a very noticeable result with that adjustment. If you want your speedo to read correctly after you re-gear it, you are going to need to purchase a speedo-healer.

She is gonna feel like a torque monster in the low-end compared with how she used to feel prior!

    Welcome!
The gear mod sounds like it will make quite a change. Let us know what you think.
And St Louis, eh? My parents are from there...neat town. Love that Arch!

I did the 15/45 and felt the rpms were a bit high for the highway and long distance riding so I went back to 16/45. 15/43 would almost be the same as 16/45. I felt the revs were ok with either +2 on the back or -1 on the front.
