Hi all Thought I'd say hi b4 I started posting topics on this site Me, I have a 1995 VFR750FR which I have converted to a streetfighter ( hence the user id VFighteR) Have a list of mods I have done and more to come, so let me know if your interested and I will post them up In the meantime, Does anyone know at what Temp the Thermal Fan kicks in (C)? Im thinkinking it comes on too early. Thanks and Catch ya soon =)
thats a very nice looking fighter! very nicely done! i would say all she needs is a high mount and a polished front and polished rear 3rd or 5th/6th gen wheel. any ways about the fan. it is said that the optimal temperature for performance is in between 85 and 90.6 degrees C. my stock fan didnt come on until 107. i have different switch in there now that comes on at about 92 and im pretty happy with that setting.
Thank you all Thanks all... If I can give any advice on our bikes, I will try. Thanks for all the welcomes and comments
Welcome Fighter. I wish to inform you that even though there is great advise around here, everyone here has varying degrees of insanity...cept me. You should enjoy this site. Very knowledgeable guys here once you weed through some of the poop.
Thanks for the info - I've tried all over the place here but cant find one of these lower temp switches. Can you let me know where you got yours and maybe I can order from the States and have it shipped? Ta mate.

You can call any parts store and give them that part number and they will cross reference it. So I went to Autozone, they had the cheapest price. If you have an autozone then go down there and tell them you want a SW524. Thats their part number, and it corresponds to an 83 Nissan Pulsar."
