Hey - new to this whole biking thing and thought I'd join a forum, and as I've got a VFR 800 this seemed like the sensible place! So, had bike since Nov 2006, its a 2001 model on a 51 plate. Its my first bike, well almost second - used a 125 Vespa for 18 months before for trips to work - and have to admit, that experience really helped with the test! I got it as I moved out of London down to the south coast (Worthing) and figured it would be a more fun way of commuting. Must admit though, it was a massive learning curve - doing 80 down a motorway for the first time is quite hairy...although used to it now! Any hows, I'll stick a picture on once I've given it a proper clean :smile:
Welcome - I would have to agree that the VFR is your first bike. There is nothing wrong with a Vespa but it is not a motorcycle. Major move from a vespa to a VFR. Good Luck with the bike!!!
