Info Needed

Guys , looking to build a VFR750R (HRC) replica (Bubba Shobert) bike. Any ideas on where I might be able to gather some information on this bike ??, detailed pictures, articals etc ??

 

I have paddock photos of that bike at Loudon "back in the day" Some with the fairings on, some with the fairings off.

Seb .... I have been up one side of google and down the other ... not much out there on that paticular bike.

 

Try searching for the class and year it was raced? For example; 1986 AMA Superbike? I got some hits on VF's that way. Found some real good pics and descriptions from the superbikeplanet.com archives, although try as I might, I couldn't find any by going to their site first... huh.

 

Rember that there were some signed "Bubba" edition helmets also, and i have one from Bell in R/W/B

I will dig out those photos. These are on film (remember film?) so if I have the negatives (likely) I can get some copies made and mail them to you. Can you wait until the weekend? These are buried in all my roadracing memorabilia and won't be something I can just go find in five minutes.

Andrew .... whenever you can find the time, really appreciate the help. Can't beleive it is this hard to find some infor on the bike. I have a friend that just has completed a verbatem copy of the the Lawson Kawasaki, he was able to get books out of Japan and able to secure all the info needed ..... . Maybe Honda just keeps the info behind closed doors and thats that ....
