I'm having the "Dying" problem in between shifts - mostly during downshifting to slow down - the bike will just shut off. I read to bump the idle up to 1,300RPM and see if that works first. I fig. the knob on the right side above the crankcase is the idle knob on my 2007. 1.) is this correct (I ask because I also read it's for the ABS since my bike has ABS) 2.) the damn thing doesn't want to turn. Should I just be a man and force it? Also, to idle UP - do you turn clockwise or visa verse?? Appreciate the help on this one!!

Had the same issue with mine, turn clockwise for higher idle and it can be a bugger to turn,

Use a Phillips screwdriver on the screw in the center of the adjusting knob.
    Works great.

Man, Toe - you are the man! Thanks too Charles! Stay tuned for a good as* chewing of another VF'er member who shipped me a seat in a box 20 years old. I got the seat and 1/2 of it was hanging out of the box (have pics to show - pretty sad I know UPS is tough on boxes but still NO wrap for protection)! Yea, pretty pissed about this one! Waiting to see if he'll make it right first before I go blasting his info and how I got screwed! I hope the moderators don't delete my account, but instead delete this POS's account cause he f*'d me! Anyone have some Vaseline?
