Anybody use or identify the UFO (Unidentified Floating Object) with the Sage sticker on it? The other one is gratuitous!
I can show you some good fly fishing and twisty roads if you get down to the South.
Just wondering if anyone fly fished on here????????????

It looks like a big Hyde drift boat. I prefer to use a johnny, myself. If she wants to go fishing, I'll make room for her.

Not sure about the boat, very sure about the girl.

I'm an anything fishing nut, have a boat and do a lot of off shore salt. I do a lot of fly fishing in fresh, especially when I'm in mountain states for trout. Large mouth bass a fun on fly. Have not got into salt fly fishing, Very expensive rigs and I already have about 20+ rods and reals.

Yep it's a Hyde drifter. I fly fish a lot for about anything fresh or salt. Getting ready head up to Michigan salmon fish for a week. If you ever find yourself in Western NC or East Tennessee and want to fish drop me a PM!

I'm lucky enough to live about 3.5 hours from upstate NY where I can go for salmon and steelhead. I like salmon fishing, but really enjoy chasing some chrome. Largest to date (all released) 32# King; 18# steel, 20# brown. I'll hopefully spend about 30 days up there from mid November until April. I have enough buddies up there with drift boats that I can usually hook up with them if its slow client-wise. If not, that's what waders are for!

I enjoy my bass fishing too. Sold the boat recently (19' Champion with an Evinrude 200), but I've towed and fished that boat anywhere from Canada to Florida. I've recently sold off enough of my bass gear that I can actually count how many reels and rods I have. My business partner lives on a private 100 acre lake that's loaded with bass. Stupid fishing there. And keep in mind this is Jersey, but the average fish in that lake is probably 3#, and I have 2 over 7, and one over 8 from that lake.

I started seriously fly fishing about 5 years ago, but I've been tying flies for about 10 years. I'm no pro at either, but I really enjoy it. Anything from the little 12" stocked fish to salmon and steelhead.

Salt water - not quite as much experience. Here in Jersey, mostly just chase stripers and blues using conventional or spinning gear. I've spent a lot of time in Florida, and picked at the snook, tarpon and redfish, but nothing to write home about. Got about a 23# tarpon on the fly - best I could do so far!

My favorite place - Cabo! I've gotten tuna, durado (mahi mahi) roosterfish, and of course marlin. (All on stand up, spinning gear). I have about 34-35 marlin to date. But of course the largest, estimated at about 450#, popped off with the leader about 30 feet away - so not an official catch!

I might just invite myself down to your area Leedawg. lol

Love to go to Cabo, but at this point I poor man it down to Costa Rica. Caught many Mahi, tuna, and lots of.sailfish! Dragging bait of course. Still haven't got my rooster fish....I am not strictly fly fishing either. I am hoping for big or stray chrome in Michigan! But it'll be mostly Kings. I'm currently wrecking my trout vest and refilling for Salmon.
I like anything that will pull on the fishing line!!!!!
I caught a 110 tarpon on the fly and NEVER want that again. I like the 40-60s. Love fishing reds in SC but would love to go to Louisiana someday for the big ones. Come on down. We can find somewhere to fish!

Tarpon will kick your ass and you don't get to eat them! lol I caught a 160lb one on 30lb mono. Had her to the boat 10 times before a lip gaf, took over an hour. We pulled her beside the boat until she recovered as big hammerhead sharks love a tired out tarpon. Lots of videos of them eating tarpon on lines.
If it swims I like to fish for it.

That's it - I just made plans to leave Friday night to go fishing. I'll tell my wife to PM Gator and Lee when she's all pissed off that I'm gone again. Its your fault anyways. She's Puerto Rican, so when she starts talking/typing 176 words per minute, you're probably better off just being quiet.

Go ahead. I understand all the Spanish curse words! I should be far enough in the North woods myself Friday night that hopefully mine won't work either! Good Luck!
