I've been looking at a lot of different companies to get gear for me and for my wife, and have started to lean towards ICON. My only problem is that they don't have any dealers even remotely close. I know how gear should fit, but can't try it on without a dealer. Anyone out there have any experience with ICON and how well they fit with their sizing charts (particularly the "Accelerant, Merc, and Arc jackets, also any of the pants and boots)? You like your gear? Thanks for any input, and/or advice.

    If it helps..I'm 6'3" 200 lbs.
and my wife is about 5'4" 130 lbs.

Take a look at Newenough.com. Their sizing charts are way more realistic, and honest. I bought my gf a pair of Joe Rocket Alter Ego pants a month or two ago, and they fit just as they said they would.

i would think an xl would be your size bro. im 5'8 155lbs. and wear a med. in alpinestars, a buddy of mine (same size) is trying to sell me a superduty camo icon canvas jacket that i like but its an xl and its quite large for me so thinking about how it fits me i think you might be an xl. sleeves are about 3/4 of the way past my hands with fingers extended, also too much body room on the inside for my powerhouse body (skinny) to be a safe jacket. also dont rule out alpinestars, they make excellent products. if your not a label junkie mix it up as far as brands go i.e., i rock an alpinestars jacket or teknics jacket with icon boots and pants. good luck bro

I have much experience selling and owning ICON products. The brand definitely makes quality products. I currently own a Daytona Retro jacket (relaxfited), Field Armor knee/shin guards, Merc long gloves, and the accelerent boots. I am very pleased with all of my products. The fit always seems to be a little big (I think). I believe that the xl jackets should do you well. The boots seem to run about a half a size to a full size big depending on which one and what you are comparing them too. I don't much care for the Merc jackets, how ever i do like the Acc. and Arc well. As with most ICON products these will be relaxed fit, having a looser fit around the arms and sholders. The jackets a have a straight arm with little to no preform.
The Acc. boots i have fit me very well with a nice snug/soft fit. They come just just to almost above my ankles. they are labeled as waterproof and have yet to prove that untrue. I did have to adjust my shifter because of the size of the toe. Which is normal and should be looked over. I have about 2,000 miles on them so far with little wear.
My Merc gloves fit excellent. I have long skiny fingers but a wide palm so gloves are hard for me to fit. Leather is very soft and broke in, after only two medium length rides (8-10 hours of wear). Love the protection they provide with great comfort.

    Hope this helps.

As far as fit I am not going to be of much help other than the ICON chukka boots I bought as a 10.5 were right on with what I normaly wear in normal shoes. I also own their feild armor leg which is a one size fits all product and it is great also for me(I am 5'10 170lbs with long reach and inseam) Both products are made well and I am happy with my purchace.

I'm 6' and 195 lbs. An XL Accelerant was to small for me. I ended up getting an 2XL and it fits perfect. Thats the only experience I've had with icon. Hope it helped.
