Thanks to everyone who replied to my "trying to decide" thread. I bought the 2001 VFR today. I think I got a pretty good deal and it only took me a few minutes worth of test ride to get me hooked. The only problem I see is the temperature dipped this week and the frost and ice season is upon us. :frown: Check her out:

Another 5G Washington rider, obviously your a highly intelligent man for picking the 5G :wink: . Where did you find your bike? I had to go to S.F. to get mine. Keep your eye on the PNW section of this site next spring, it's going to be quite a season.
I found the bike on Craig's list. I looked long and hard before I found one close by, but it was definitely worth the wait. It looks like most of you guys from WA are on the coast, I'm over here on the east side (Spokane area).
congrats on the bike. I too have been cursing the weather but I'm still riding. It was 32 degrees when I left for work the other morning. I just tried to duck behind the windshield and think about how warm I'd be when I got there. I ride a 5th gen vfr also and they are my personal preference even though I like all the VFRs I've seen.
