Well this is my 2 cents worth, if you don't have experience working w/ multiple carbs you are far better off paying some one who to rebuilt your carbs. Heres a secret, you need to befriend a mechanic who does have the experience & offer to pay him directly to the job on his own time for 60-75% of what the shop would charge. Mechanics need extra money too, but it is a gray area & must be approached delicately because most shops have some form of a no compete clause. which legally cannot not be enforced but it can make the guys life miserable if his employer is an A$$. How do I know this, I am a heavy truck & equip. tech that has helped a guy out a time or two while lining my own pocket. Being a tech I also realize that there are things I should just not screw with when there are qualified people to do it. Depends on whether you want to ride anytime soon are risk turning your ride into a parts bike:eek: like I said just my two cents

Yeah, I have rebuilt Carbs on Many cars before, weird one to like Triumph, TR7s and those down draft Stromberg carbs, but no motorcycles yet. I see where you what you mean about getting someone else to do it, I have just had MUCH better luck in the past doing things my self, Shops ALWAYS F#$K my stuff up, and then I have to get medieval on there A$$.
