I'm looking for a replacement for my current black leather riding jacket. I want something with a lot of visibility, protection, comfort, and multi-season use. Does anyone have experience with the jacket Honda sells? It comes in black and red or yellow and black, perf leather, armour etc. for $300 (02) or $400 (03). I'd appreciate any other jacket recommendations. Thanks, Jeff McQueen

I tried on the Honda jacket, it was ok... just a bit pricey and they only had it in yellow.

I also tried on a few from Joe Rocket, Gericke, First Gear, and Teknic. As far as looks and quality, I like the Gericke PSXII the most.... unfortunately I didn't care for the fit. I only had a chance to look at some of the textile Teknic jackets, but if I were buying textile, I would have bought the Teknic easily. Great fit, great features, and a great price tag.

For me it came down to First Gear or Joe Rocket. I went with the Joe Rocket Reactor S, I like the fit and the feel of it the best. The armor feels a tad bit on the bulky side, but it has a comforting presence.

    Hey cary,

    1) you didn't leave any contact info for anyone who might be interested (like me)

    2) if you're selling something, it should be posted in the 'Buying & Selling' forum

    3) You replied to a post that is over a year old.
