Unbelievable, I bought an '01 VFR today and on my first ride, I punched a 1/2" jagged hole in the front fairing. Must have gotten a rock flung by a truck. any advice on self-fixes on should I take it to a body shop? It doesn't have to look perfect, just disguise the damage and reasonable color-match. On a budget, by the way.

You could probably get by with Epoxy to fill the hole and color matched paint from Color-Rite. The paint code should be under the seat.

The rocks in Bend must be dangerous. Hang around and someone should be able to help.

Why don't you just save your money-get a good looking decal and simply hide it that way! If you fix it perfect-another rock will find it. That's just the way things happen.:whoops: Just thought that sometimes just sweep that problem under the rug and forget about it!:spit:
