    Hey folks,

Has anyone out there in VFR land travelled highway 83 from the Manitoba/Montana border to Mexico? Talk about a trip for the senses.

    VFR kin,

I posted this some time ago but with no response. Certainly, there must have been some rider(s) who have done a bisection route of America? PErhaps there is another way to do this. Please let me know.

I have never even heard of it that I recall. I lived in Great Falls for about 4 yrs. Did you ride it? It sounds like a great ride report to me. The bisection ride or some such... What states? Guess I could google map it... let's see.... I can't seem to find it. Can you give me a start town and stop town or a route you planned or something like that...

Don't know how to tell you this John but Manitoba and Montana do not border each other. They are a couple hundred miles from each other. The 83 starts at the Manitoba NORTH DAKOTA border. But ya it looks like it would be a nice ride. Right through the heart of the Cold War Missle Crisis in Minott ND. It was nice having those on your doorstep back in the 60's. when I lived in Brandon Manitoba. I still remember the Air Raid Sirens going off and ducking under desks at school.

    Hey Randy,
Thanks for the correction on bordering states for highway #83. I believe my uncle by marriage used to pick up bees and bring them up #83 and always thought this would be a remarkable trip.

I just may do part of that in 2010. I am hoping to do the Kansas trip and come back home via Winnipeg and across on the #1
