    Hi everyone,
Not new to bikes but about to be new to VFR's  I'm picking up a 2004 VFR800 tomorrow. I'm just outside Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia and am looking forward to this next chapter of my motorcycling life.

Previous to the VFR I've owned 2x '98 Laverda 750S', Ducati 600 Monster, '72 Ducati 450 Shotgun and a '84 Kawasaki KR 250... Hopefully my love of Italian bikes won't be held against me...
    Cheers,
    Mick

Welcome to the forums. I don't think you will be dissapointed with the VFR. I have a 1198S and a KTM RC8R and I still enjoy the VFR800. It is much more comfortable around town and cruising.. Post some pictures..

Welcome. Stick around. Learn to filter out the crap if you want and there is valuable advise here. Or jump in with the rest of us, well lets say, colourful characters of questionable mental stability, hang on and have fun. Regardless, ride safe.

Post up pix or subject yourself to the brunt of constant and feverous slamming by the picture police here.

:bored: Well yah. I guess that will do. Too bad it wasn't white though. But seriously, nice set up. I have a set of OEM hard bags at the painters right now getting a fresh coat on them. I would like to get the hard truck bag next but that is on my non priority list right now. New paint on the wheels will be the next expense for me.
