    Part number 16111-MY7-610 Vacuum Piston

Is this the same number your dealer looked up? It did supercede once.

Just curious - aren't the third gen slides the round metal type? What happened to it?

Write to Dave Dodge at Dodge Racing Products, drp123@mindspring.com. He often has some used V4 carb parts available for sale.

Try M/C Wrecking yards and take yours with you when you go to compare with the one your buying. It won't be cheap. Usually 50% of retail. But, it will be cheaper than Honda if they had any. When you buy a used diahparm make sure the holes in the bottom of the diahparm slide are the same size as the diahparm slide off you bike. Some Performance carb kits will instruct purchaser to drill out one or more of the holes to cause the diahparm slide rise faster. Watch eBay for a set of carbs if you are going to keep the bike for a while you can use them for parts in the future. Good luck.
