    Hi all
can any of you out there please point me in the right direction on what else to check this is what i`ve done so far.
1 - redone new leads got continuity but not with the little resistor in it is this right or should there be continuity.???????

2 - checked coils as per manual all seems to be good.

i have power going in to the coils but seems nothing coming out should i get power when i disconnect the spark plug wire and test it with a test lite.?????
    any help would be great.
    Thanks in advance
    Dave

    Hey

With no resistor then it should be 0,0 ohm.Have you mesured the coils should be around 7 ohm were the wires from spark unit connect/pulse genators should be 490 ohms when engine is hot/Resistors for the spark plugs think that it should be around 5 kohm not sure and if every thing checks out okay. Then you need to check spark units remember spark unit 1&3 controls spark unit 2&4.Tell me one thing does your rpm meter act funny when you try to start it.This is just what I try to remember since I work on my bike while ago so check the mesurement in the book also.

    Best regards

    Gunnar
