Just noticed this section. I've only posted three times so I guess I'm not too far behind. Used to ride, 1990 Katana 750. Sold it years ago. About two years ago I got into Dual Sport riding (DRZ400S). I've been playing with that and making it trail worthy and occasionally ride it to work. I mentioned to my wife that I'd like to find a commuter bike and one fell into my lap. Talking with my neighbor he mentioned that his son in law had been storing his motorcycle in his garage for years and he wish he would get rid of it. Long story short, it turns out to be an all original '87 VFR700F2. It's been in the garage, under a cover, this whole time. It was running fine when he parked it so it needs some TLC (cleaning, clearing all liquids..etc). I offered $400, he accepted. I'll be pushing it across the street tonight...let the fun begin. From what I see here, there is a lot of knowledge here and I'm hoping to soak some of it up.
