Hello from Wyoming.

I'm not new to motorcycles... but am new to the VFR'S. I just got a 2000 Honda VFR 800 interceptor. Here's a few pics. It came with a trunk... but i took it off. Bike came with aftermarket seat.. grips.. levers.. exhaust.

Welcome! Great bike. The advantage of that year: Yellow. Awesome.

 

Doing some research and I've noticed that... yellow.. Yellow.. Yellow. Lol. What sites are best for aftermarket parts? I wanna get rid of them big turn signals up front.

Nice.. Cool photos too, in that you did good, and to think you are in the land of some of the country's finest roads.

 

I'm a "stocker" myself but I'm sure people will have ideas. A lot of "ebay" for miscellaneous inexpensive Chinese alternatives.

I'll be down in SD in about 4 weeks time - we'll be checking out Devil's Tower while we are!

 

Great bike so far. I need to do alot of reading on what oils.. filters.. etc to use and to stay away from.
Jeff.. I'm always up for a road trip. My lady and I might be going from Wyoming to Grand Junction, Colorado (6hr 14min) and then over to Denver (4hr ride) for a baseball game and home (another 4hr ride).

Guess I should have asked what part of Wy. are you in. I have family in Sheridan getting there is mor than half the fun. Chief Josephs Byway and 14 through Cody are absolutely fabulous then there's Bear tooth which is totally epic. looking at maybe being able to hit it up late July .

 

I'm in Casper. About 2.5hrs from Sheridan. I've got family there also.

Welcome and great find ! I preferred the RC36 but my second choice was one like yours, a pre-vtec !

Yep those are Wyoming roads. Seen way many and kinda crazy too. BTW good photo skills there, makes even a dirty VFR look good

 

Is was on top of Casper mtn before it starts going down the back side. We had a bad rain storm Friday night. Alot of gravel on the roads.

LOL seems like about 90% of all the secondary roads in Wy. are gravel, nice and smooth, SMH someone likes to run a road grader, but it's still gravel.
