This is just a simple "Hello!" I'm a new rider (took my safety course in June). I just bought a 1984 VF500F, which I'll be getting back from the shop in just under two weeks (replacing the fork seals, clutch push rod seal, and sproket seal - the work itself won't take long, but they have a long wait list right now). She looks a bit of a beater, but the engine sounds fantastic. I test drove an 85 VF 500 F a couple fo weeks back and decided that was the bike for me. The ninja 500 might be a newer bike, but I just love everything about the miniceptor. I'm stoked for when I get to start riding! Oh, and I'm in Ottawa, Canada. Anyone else from my neck of the woods?
