Hello all. Ive recently bought a sixth gen VFR down here in New Zealand. Its a bit of dooer upper. It was an accident damaged bike prior to my ownership. I am slowly working through its issues. I only managed an hour or so riding on it before it broke down but even that was enough to realize that this is going to be a fun bike to own. I live on the West Coast of South Island and we have fantastic roads here for riding. Regards to All, Mark
Welcome Mark. I'm in the Other Island and have only ridden your area once on the way to the Burt Munro in 2018; certainly a fantastic area for riding provided you don't get taken out by a tourist!
Welcome! I visited your island back in 2005 and still miss it. My only sporty rental bike choice was a VTEC VFR...which I suffered with two two weeks.
F-in VTEC was absolutely dreadful. It beat walking..but barely. Hard to imagine a more ridiculous idea on a gentleman's express... Not sure where my pics was from. I was all over for 2 weeks before I put myself in a Miata to revisit the places I wanted to spend more time in.
Almost certain I am correct with the location (I have travelled this road many times) Miatas are great my wife owns one, never had the pleasure of driving it in New Zealand though.
The only place I've ever been where when the radio was put on scan...never found a station for hours!
