Hi, just picked up a "Brand new" 2007 25th anniversary VFR, and im in LOVE. Ive only been riding 4 months now, just 4 months ago I purchased a 93FZR600. I learned what I liked and disliked about that bike, and went and checked out some newer sport bikes, only to find them really uncomfortable, and not suited for 2-up riding with the wife (She loves it)

I had settled on one of the new standards from Yamaha or Kawasaki. I had learned that I like handling best of all, and that weight was the enemy of that flick-able feel I was after. The FZ6r/FZ1 or z1000 were on my short list, but while at the local Honda-Yamaha dealer I saw the 2007 VFR and fell in love! The 25th edition made it SUPER desirable to me, as I like to stand out from a crowd. The great ergos, and surprisingly light feel convinced me that the extra 100lbs wouldnt be a problem. While it doesnt feel quite as sharp to flick around as the Z1000(That bike is awesome BTW) It had much improved comfort for a passenger, which I ultimately needed for the wife, and put this bike well over my other choices.

I did 61 miles in the first 24 hours of owning the bike, just riding around town, hell even stop and go traffic this bike is putting a grin on my face. Im taking it easy during the first 500 miles or so, as I plan on keeping this bike as long as she will have me:cool:

Good to be here, and cant wait to read up more on my new toy

300 miles is all you need for break in. Per the owners manual.

    Even better!

The dealer couldnt locate the owners manual, so they had to order me another one. Cant wait to read it

Also, what repair manual is preferred for this bike, Haynes, clymers ect?
