evening folks, I just purchased a 2002 VFR800 this past Sunday to replace a Husky Nuda I wrote off ( a story for another day)

I was looking for a sport tourer and my mechanic suggested a VFR800, I went and took it for a test ride, I instantly felt at home. No first ride on a new bike issues at all. its got quite high k's but its got documented history so I was not to fussed.

I am a Honda enthusiast, I currently have 99 Hornet,89 VFR400, not to mention the multitude of Honda's I we have owned in the past.

My wife if breaking the mold and bought a 2018 Triumph street triple and loves it.

Anyway I wanted to say HEY and I am looking forward to participating with other VFR lovers.

Welcome fellow Kiwi VFR enthusiast. I'm in Auckland. Nothing wrong with high mileage VFR's, mine has over 100,000km.

Hey Terrie, I am in Welly. I rode the Bike back from Palmy this past Sunday, it wasnt home for 5 minutes before the wife disappeared on it lol

the previous owner did quite a lot to it. I need to change the suspension for me, its a bit oversteery at the moment so I am hoping those Dave Moss classes will come to good use lol

    97,000K's on it.
    - Power Commander 3
    - Dyno Tune (110HP at the wheels)
    - Scorpion Under seat cans
    - K&N filter
    - HID lights (very bright and fully road legal)
    - 12V accessory socket
    - Ventura Bike Rack and Bag
    - Tail Tidy

Hope you get to keep your HID lights. I just went for a WOF on my VTR and was told they would no longer allow the LED bulb that I retrofitted in there, new legislation from 1 June.
