Just bought a '86 VFR750 to replace the one I had traded in for my Harley; am glad I did!

Got some questions; will post them here and if I get no answers will try another area....

My bike has the Fox Twin Clicker shock. I'm trying to find the specs (to dial it in for me) for this product but haven't had any luck. Any suggestions??

And until I get a shop and owner's manual, how much air should I put in the front forks or where can I find these specs??

    Glad to be back!!

Hi vfrgrl and welcome to VFRWorld. Thank you for joining us here. You might try Fox's web site if you can find it or call or email them. I can't advise on the forks, tho. Personally, I would not run air in them at all. But then I don't know what the stock specs are either. Good luck on getting the info. :thumb:

Welcome to the board. I don't think that I can help with the shocks though I wish I could.

from what i read in my clymers manual the fronts dont take much at all..i recently went through it to find out the same info for the front and rear of my VF. The Rear shock on the older bikes can use anywhere from 20-43 Psi..The front forks can only handle about..0-6 psi...Keep in mind these are numbers from a VF Clymers but it should give you a rough idea as to what sort of pressures you can use on your VFR. Welcome to the forum
