My name is Brandon, im 25 years old and I live in Greer SC. I bought my 2001 VFR about 3 years ago used. When I got it it had about 5,000 miles on it. Now however im over the 24,000 mile mark and still going strong! It has been a superb bike and still runs like new! Most of my rides have been around this area such as Myrtle Beach, The Dragon, Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Atlanta area. One day I want to do a cross country ride.

I am in the process of installing new fork seals since the orginals have started leaking real bad. I am also getting ready to install a kevlar clutch in the next couple of weeks that I have ordered from Dave Dodge.

This seems like a nice forum that is just starting to grow!

Here is a picture of me and my baby!

Hi Brandon. Welcome to the group. Thats a nice ride you have. On the weekend of the 15th of Sept. there is a vfrd ride on at the Dragon. Maybe you will be able to join. We at VFR World are also bouncing around the idea of having our own VFR event, butwith us scattered across the country (and world) it looks like it will be more than one evernt and be a regional thing.

    Again, welcome to the group.

Thanks Vman83! I may be able to make the dragon ride then. I will actually be going up there on labor day weekend with a bunch of other people from work considering I have my forks fixed by then (hopefully they will be fixed this weekend).

A VFR event would be a great idea! Yes we are scattered across country but perhaps instead of having just one big event that most people won't be able to make, we could do a few regional events across country except all on the same day. Then everybody could post there pictures of their meetings. Just a thought.
