So I bought a 86 Vfr 700 off a guy and it's in fairly good condition. However i'm running into some issues finding parts that don't cost an arm and a leg. I just got a new chain and tire and now my primary concerns are my rear blinkers and my rear taillight....
    Future projects to come...
Anyone know where I can find parts decently priced? I tried googling but it doesn't seem to want to find anything... :(

    Welcome.

I think you are going to find that getting parts for that baby is going to be a little costly. Chains seem to be a popular topic recently. I would not put a brand new chain on old sprockets if that can be avoided. Old sprockets are likely to cause pre-mature wear on your nice new chain. I think you will see a saving in the long run if you change the sprockets at the same time as your chain.

Parts for your bike will be hard to come by, fleebay would be a good place to search. As for blinker and tail light I would get after market, easy to find and easy to install. Just my 2 cents

I did get new sprockets along with my chain! Apparently the guy that looked at them said he had never seen a front sprocket like mine.. It had some sort of silencer on either side of it. He was thinking it was the original... The tire was my next priority due to the cracks in the rubber down the center of the tire. I was expecting that one to go on the ride to the shop. As for the rest of the repairs, I can do them myself, just need the parts. I have never heard of fleebay.. Or did you mean to type ebay?
