Yes, numerous people have them, including me. They are just RISERS though. They raise the bars about 3/4" whereas the Helibars are up-and-back. They raise the bars about an inch and bring them back toward the rider as well.

The only way you would be able to change the bar height though is by taking them back out. They aren't adjustable in any way.

thanks. taking them in and out was what i meant to change height, however does it make it more comforatable to make them worth buying or just wait until i can afford helibars.

I've got the genmar risers on mine, and for me it made a big difference in the comfort level. Don't have as much pressure on the wrist/hands.
Like yourself, I would really like to get the heli bars, but don't want to spend the money.
Again, for me, the genmars worked out great.

I have an RC51 front end on mine and I run convertibars on it. They are very adjustable. You can check them out at convertibars.com.

I've asked this question before but never got an answer...

Has anyone combined the Genmar with the Helibars?

    Hi Bob,
I think physically it would work, but I'm sure the throttle cable, brake and clutch lines are too short to pull it off. If you went to longer lines/cables, there no reason why it wouldnt work - maybe check body and tank clearances.

Hi - I see you have a 4th gen - I once had a 4th too. I tryed Helis and didnt like them, they put the bars at a weird angle. Sold em, went with gen mars. Not bad. With the GenMars the bars retain the stock bar angle, it seemed more comfortable than the Helis. Assembly wise its off and on in 10 minutes. Sometimes I throw them in the tailbag on a trip. On for a drone, off for the twistys. Try 'em, there cheaper than the heli route. -- I gotta admit over time I just liked the stock best and sold the gen mars too.

Strangely after I bought my 5th gen, I liked the 4th gen position so much that I put 4th gen bars on the 5th.
