I just got this bike last saturday. Are both low beam lights supposed to be on? High beam both come on. My right bulb only works on low. I know that Yamaha's do this.
it would help to know what bike your talking about, this may be a vfr forum, but thats not really a hard rule. but just so you dont think im that much of a dick( though i am one) 6th gen vfr800's are dual for both beams, check the bulb, socket for voltage and relay(this one might seem odd but they do break on the inside)
Looks like a 5th gen to me. I just put some 55/60 H4 bulbs in my bike a few months ago. You have to bend a couple of tabs back to get them to fit, but they work really well.
