    Headlight low beam bulb lifespan

Osram H7 on my car and vfr don't last more than 150-200 hours.
Any recommendation for a good quality long lasting bulb ?

Never lost a bulb on my 07 VFR (yet). My 07 Suzuki uses an H7 for low beam & has burned out twice in 40k miles. Not sure what brand bulb. I just go to the local auto parts store & just grab an H7.

I would strongly recommend when handling bulbs to use latex or nitrile gloves. Should you touch it with your finger wipe it with alcohol before installing/ use. Grease & oils in your skin will leave a residue on the glass & create temperature differences on the bulb. That greatly shortens bulb life.

I bought a set of Philips Extreme 130% brighter bulbs and while it's too soon to tell how long they'll last, at $26.95 plus free two day shipping with Amazon Prime, Even if they last a year, I'm cool with it because of how incredibly bright they are. Nearly as bright as the new LED lights on the Ducati's that I was raving about recently.
