having trouble starting

    hello everyone I have a 98 vfr800 and the fuel pump wont turn on I tried replacing the relay for it and no luck I put a volt meter on the brown plug that plugs to the pump and when I turn on the kill switch it reads 0.07 or lower is there a way to check the fuel pump or is there something else I am missing to check I had to replace the start relay right by the battery also before this happen when I would ride and hit a bump it sounded like it wanted to die any kind of feed back would be greatly appreciated thank you

    It sounds like you have a bad wire somewhere. I would start by putting power direct to the pump to make sure that it runs and then work your way back through the harness to find out where the issue is hiding.
