Planning to buy a Harris carbon hugger - because the other options look like junk. Pricey, but my motorcycle demands the best! I'll let you all know - with pics.

I have the GCC or Thurn one (can't remember), with integrated chain guard, looks pretty nice to me.

Alaskan, Keen to find out your ideas about Harris Rear Hugger. Was it a good fit etc. Please forward your summary. I reckon it looks the best option also. It is actually cheaper than GCC for me in Oz. Mine is a 2010 VFR800. Your photo gallery does not show it on. I have the Leo Vince CF pipes as well. I suggest you look at the free fender eliminator post.

Best to spend the money on a decent one. The previous owner of my vfr put some cheapo thing on it...biiiig big groove where the tire has grinded against it!

Sorry I haven't followed up on this. The Harris hugger is a solid product. Fitment was difficult, as it wanted to line up off-center. After much fiddling and cursing, however, it lined up perfectly over the center of the tire.

Webber, I installed a Werkes fender eliminator at the same time. That and the hugger really cleaned up the look of the bike.
