Hello all!!! I have looked at this site before and really wanted to join but i just couldn't bring my self to do it until i got a VFR! So, here I am!!! Just bought a 2008 VFR silver metallic with only 2, 410 miles on it for $6600 yesterday!!! It was completely stock except for heli bars. I bought it from a 67 year old man who went to a cruiser. This is my first motorcycle! I do have riding experience but I also believe you can never have enough!! I did manage to put in 120 miles on the bike yesterday!!! The joy of it almost brought me to tears!! I am 36 years old and live about 10 miles southwest of Griffin, Ga. I have a wife and 5 kids. I am excited about joining the site and look forward to learning so much about the VFR and my new "brothers"!!! I will get some pics posted just as soon as I come down off of cloud 9!! Thanks!!
Welcome. Are the kids old enough to work and buy you goodies for the bike? Or at least keep you in gas money? Maybe you can rent them out. I am a little shy of 67 ( actually 11 years shy) and if my 06 is still running by then, I am not getting rid of it. If need be, I will put training wheels on it. I can always put pucks on my cane and drag that in the corners.
