Was looking around for LH and RH switch housings for my 2004 and noticed different part numbers for 6th Gen bikes.
My simple brain thought all 6th Gen would be the same.

For kicks and giggles, called 2 different dealerships and got the good ole' ... " well, the part numbers are different, so they switches can't cross years, but we don't know why " script.

Any insight from the VFRW beeb as to what the differences may be?

I know the 02 does not have hazard switch but the 04 does, not sure if 03 does or not, I think everything post 04 has it.

Thanks gang. Will lean towards the hazard switch being the difference on the RH side. Was looking again and sellers are listing 02-09, whilst some have and other do not have the hazard switch. And used price range from about $20 up to $80, for the same part.
