Watching the History Channel show Hairy Bikers, they were heading to a "Biker" BBQ in NC and were riding the Dragon to Deal's Gap. They showed about a minute of the guys on the roand and gave a quick background of the road. Kind of cool to see this on TV and not on You Tube.
My mother was prone to hanging around those types of folks back in the day and I do prefer the old school bikers. The kind that were packing heat, crank , booze, and easy women (mom fell into that category). It was a better time I think.
