Okay, I am really getting jealous of the PNW guys group rides... I know there are lots of other VFR riders around here and I want a good group ride DAMMIT! I'm going to Hawaii next week, but when I get back, I expect a decent group ride. So here's the deal all you guys in Cali who aren't going to puss out, leave messages about when in late Oct would be a good day and where you would like to go. If you know other VFR riders around here, talk to them. Let's get something going. We have some of the best riding in the country but it seems like we are all riding solo. Solo riding is fun, too, but it would be nice to get together in groups periodically to bs and gawk at other bikes and mods.
Will be house-sitting up in A-town from the 20th to the 27th, definitely could go for some riding. Plus I should be in Pismo the 28th and 29th as well if something is going down that weekend.
What happened to your Sunday Hwy. 1 ride? Now that ride made me jealous!!! I was expecting some photo's of my favorite highway...
Well, the weather scared everyone off I guess. I was scheduling the ride in adavnce so didn't know what the weather would do. It was cool (for Cali) and only a few people showed up. The coast was damp and foggy so we stayed inland. Don't worry, though, in December we'll still be riding and I'll get some good pics.
