I've been lurking on the boards since the summer, and wanted to finally say "Hi." I bought a RWB 2007 VFR last May, because it reminds me of the 85 Interceptor I owned as young buck. I love this thing but I don't get to ride much, now that I have a family and a job. Anyway, I had a couple of items for you guys: 1. What is the top speed of the 2007? 2. Are there any riders near Tuscaloosa who would like to do weekend riding? If so, leave a post here. Thanks
welcome jj. Glad you finally came out the closet....err shadows I mean! I would say your top speed with stock gearing about probably be around ~145-150MPH on flat ground with a tailwind, but your speedo will probably be telling you ~155+.
Welcome jonjon. You bought yourself a great bike. I too bought the RWB since it reminded me of my first bike which was a 1986 VF500F. Derstuka is pretty much right on as far as the top speed goes. I'm guessing that 150 mph is more than what you need though.
