Had to give props to a vendor I just discovered online. I needed a new battery, and my dealer wanted $72 for a new Yuasa. So I did some searching and discovered MotorCycle Batteries USA http://www.motorcyclebatteriesusa.com/ Great site, really easy to use - and I got a PowerMax battery for $47.77. And they shipped it for free! I ordered it on Monday, had it on Friday. Great experience all around.

Dealerships are the wrong places to buy things like batterys and a whole bunch of other motorcycly type things. Not that I have a thing for dealerships. Heaven forbid.. LOL
there's a shocker - a dealer that wants 2x the price on off the shelf items. Batteries Plus And for other bullshit off the shelf items like screws, nuts, bolts, and tire air; try your local hardware store.
