Definately a gimmick, it appears it is probably nothing more than O2 eliminator. Which will help with drivability but will make the bike run a bit rich.

 

thought so, i am sure i would have read about it if had made a difference.

Well, I dunno. Their add says;

Original ECU program is in process, but the signal of MAGNUM oxygen sensor powerchip is cheating it in each microsecond delivering higher horsepower, torque and acceleration as well. We can only feel a refreshed engine, horribly dynamic acceleration without any flat pots.

I would kinda like having a refreshed engine, horribly dynamic acceleration, and my pots have been feeling rather flat lately...

 

i don't believe it. If you read their description, it says the devices causes the onboard electronics to read a lean condition in the exhaust so the FI injects more fuel. On a stock setup, the computer is already designed to deliver and keep constant 14:1 A/F ratio. Pumping more gas into the cylinders is just like running a carbureted setup with the choke on, going to foul up your spark plugs, wear out the cat and probably reduce performance.

And that's at best scenario if it can be assumed the device does anything at all.

EDIT: Plus, even though the item says it's coming out of Europe. I don't think I've ever heard a european with that horrible of English. Sounds like some Chinese Chinglish speaker wrote that listing.

 

If you want to increase your "dynamism" by 15%,this is the only way to go!:lol:

Vader, I think every human in the world has "issues", and how they are classified is truly in the eye of the beholder. As far as refraining goes, we all have personalities, opinions and moods. Nobody is attacking you, that I can tell; we are all just carrying on the way that we carry on. Read between all of the various comments and you will find the answers you were looking for.

Personally, one of my favorite things about this place is the combination of technical knowledge and outrageous personality. I do what I can to add technical support in the areas I am knowledgeable in, as does everyone on this site. Typically, what you can expect is that once the initial question has been answered, we will take the opportunity to have fun with each other.
