Has anyone had any experience with a gas tank that has had to be lined due to corrosion? My 94 VFR which I have recently purchased was apparently stored without a full tank of gas and the tank corroded. The previous owner's dealer had the tank lined(creamed?) and I was curious about potential concerns.
    Thanks.

THE cream treatment is stone-age old-tech but may work in SOME cases some times.

THE newer, better way is with an epoxy lining (rock-hard, unlike cream), and I have had excellent results with "fuel tank sealer" from: www.caswellplating.com

one treatment, easy to use (but ambient temp should be about 75 degrees) costs about $38 delivered
