Front wheel interchangeability

I picked up this 2000 VFR today and the tires are trashed. I have a set of wheels from my 2007 when I went with white powder coated wheels. The rear mounted up fine. The front looks like a close match but not sure if the hub will fit the disks. Is the wheel the same?

 

Could just take a tape measure and measure the width between the rotors on each bike and that might tell you. I assume that the 6 Gen wheel doesn't have the rotors installed? I have a complete 6 Gen wheel that I can try and test fit if the tape measure check doesn't give a good enough tell.

 

Correct, 6th gen wheel is rotor less. But I will measure the one on my 2007 bike if I can then the 2000 bike and see if the same.

 

The bolt pattern looks the same and the distance between rotors is the same at 5 & 20/32nds. Will proceed with rotor swap and wheel swap and get new tires for this baby.
