    Hi guys,

While changing the chain I noticed that the front sprocket has a bit of play - mainly in the direction of sliding onto the shaft.
There was absolutely no wear in the sprocket when I removed it but I decided to buy a new one anyway. The shaft itself is not moving at all in any direction and I don't see any wear on it.

Now I installed new sprocket (Afam) and there is still a little play... :'(
So should I worry? I'm beginning to think that this is normal - both old and new sprocket behave almost the same way... With a bit of sprocket freeplay maybe they reduce the chain wear if there is some misalignment or something?

Edit: Also the bike has just 50k km on it...

Not an issue, completely normal. As long as there's no axial movement, you're fine. The reason
there is a bit of freeplay is so the nut that holds things in place tightens on the shaft and not the
    sprocket.

    All is well.
