    Hi again,
just fitted new discs to the front 86 VFR and I am having problems trying the get the pistons to retract. "G"clamp on both pistons and they won't go back unless I release the bleeder. Are these m/c's similar to the CB750/1100's where the fluid return hole in the m/c blocks and causes the brakes to drag/lock on. I would have thought that the pressure I had on with the clamps should have been enough to clear any blockage. Any thoughts?
    Thanks Norm

Mastercylinder is only half full and the air in there will compress no problems, this is hard as a rock, but with the bleeder open , pistons go back easily, but thanks for trying

There's a small hole under a tiny SS plate thingy in the bottom of the MC. That's a fluid return hole and it may be plugged. Take a look.

Try pulling the lever off just to be sure it is not hold the piston partially engaged.

Ok , I have the m/c in my hand and is there anyway to remove the stainless flap that I assume is sitting ontop of the return hole. I assume this flap is to stop from getting a squirt of fluid back up once you release the lever. Also any tips for cleaning inside the m/c, I don't have a repair kit and m/c was showing no leaks so I would prefer to leave well enough alone if I could.
    Thanks again

Boobs from down under would be appreciated I think...

You can un-clogg them holes in the masterr cylinder by taking a pair of pliers and plucking a wire out of your favourite wire brush. Dont use contact cleaner inside your master cylinder as it will fuck up your sight glass. Wut else????

    Boobs ????
