flu sucks

Just caught this thread and am very sorry to hear your friend is so ill. I hope she continues to improve, she is in all of our hearts.

Thoughts and prayers. I'm a big supporter of the medical underdog, being one myself.

My dad got the swine flu vaccine in the 70's or 80's when it first came out - I guess that this virus has been around for a long time. Perks of being in the Canadian military is that you get to be a guineapig for new vaccines and whatnot. He said he'd never been sicker in his entire life than when he got that shot. I guess it'd be best to prepare to take a few days off work if needed.

 

still the same on this end...little baby steps on the improvement end...

thanks for all the well wishes..I passed them along to her significant other and he wanted me to relay his thanks....

 

flowers (not stinky ones because of her lungs tho), fun comfy socks and teddy bears are nice. will keep praying.

my friend is being removed from life support today at 4:00pm and will leave this earth today.. the doctors have given her no chance to survive and apparently her internal systems have been shutting down.....so the decsion was made by her family to remove life support..............
