Picked up a really nice motorcycle floor jack so I could pull off my front wheel and put on a new Bridgestone. Except there is nothing I can find to jack against on a VFR (1991). Has anyone come up with any kind of a jig or way to safely use a floor jack? Otherwise its going back to Sears!

My wife bought me a bike jack a few years back and I returned it and bought a Lockhart Phillips front race stand. It picks the bike up by the front lower tripple clamp and allows wheel or fork removal. If you need to do head bearings you still have to find a way to support the bike under the motor. I have done this using stacks of 2X8 lumber under the headers after lifting it with the race stand.
