Hi - Have any one around here any experience with building flatslide carbs, like Keihin FCR or Mikuni RS, on a VFR 700 / 750 ?
The biggest problem here i think, is finding the intake rubber 40mm to 42mm, ive searched my a** off finding those but without any luck. Mounting them isnt easy either, i know, but basicly its "just" a plate and a rod for the slides.

    - Cheers!

Flatslide carbs are best on racebikes where the usable engine rpm range is narrow and at the top end.

On a streetbike they're very hard to tune for smooth low speed running, and your bike would suffer and NEVER run as nicely again.
