After years of riding Yamaha's,(1981 XS100, 1993 Fj1200ABS) I now have a 2006 VFR800A. Came with Staintune's and a rear Ohlin shock. I need to sort out the Ohlin. It raised the seat height a few inches from the stock model I test rode, and I am in tip toe mode. I was told I have to go to a Ducati dealer in NYC to get the Ohlin checked out. That should be fun! I have always loved the sound of the V4. I never dreamed I would own a VFR800, but I could not pass this bike up. I'm Broke, but I'm really happy!
my first VFR was the second bike I ever owned and the first own I fell in love with gave her up to the demo man after a hearty wreck and owned a few more different bikes over the years and now I am back to the VFR...welcome to the real world
