Well I just filled up the Viffer for the first time and I averaged 32.9 mpg. I was wondering if this will improve after the bikes broken in. I do use it to commute everyday, so I'm sure that has an impact as traffic is stop and go in certain areas.

Well, i am a newbie here, but that seems pretty normal to me. There are already a couple threads about this topic which you can take a look at. They talk about mileage ranges from the 30s to the 40s.
Mileage seems to get worse depending on whether you drive hard and use the VTEC a lot. I believe that kicks in at 6800 RPM. I know that when i am riding and hit that VTEC range I can almost see the fuel guage indicator going down before my eyes! 'Course at that speed you better be keeping your eyes on the road!
Oh yea, also how much do you weigh, etc.

Mine's a 5th Gen, but I've tracked the last 15 fillups with the following results:
    • 35.1 Worst
    • 45.4 Best
    • 38.1 Average
This includes solo and two-up riding, both slab and local.

It really is the wrist control that matters. My last 250+ mile highway trip varied from 42 to 50. 50 was 65-75 MPH for about 100 miles, no passing, just 6th gear cruising along.
