Fi1 Fiy difference ???

Hi all,

I purchased a VFR800 (trade in from a dealer, 49k on the clock but nice bike with full history and within my budget !!!!) a couple of months back but am not sure what i have got - does anyone know how you tell a Fiy from a Fi1 ??? - It has just gone straight through a mot test but is there anything else i should check on a 49k bike ?? - Thanks - Doug

 

The different suffix is for the year. I have a 1999 and thats a 'Fix', so a 'y' should be a 2000.
