We are not "Fat" just a little "Husky"

Now with that being said, exactly how "husky" are you?

Joe Rocket and Speed and Strength are cut to better fit our "fluffy" American body types. You can also look at Spartan Custom leathers. The Spartans aren't unreasonably priced.

I bought a pair of leathers from Top Gear Leathers and seem to be of decent quality and are very affordable. They also do custom sizes. I did a quick review on them and hope to do a more long term review, problem is I haven't been able to do much riding lately, work has got me traveling and working most weekends.

Well let's just say I'm not going to b like this forever lol. B4 I broke my leg I maintained 240 and that was even through my service in the marines. They had me down to 200 in boot but as soon as I got out of boot I billed back up. Muscle wise lol. But when I broke my leg that's when it all started going on I would run 5 miles a day and a 30 minute session with the weights then poof nothing and my eating habbits stayed the same. Needless to say my old leathers don't fit ne moar. my man hole is done now and I have made a weight/ exercise room and small indoor track so now the only excuse I have is that I still drive and am not home all the time. But that will change in 5 years or so lol. Nothing like retiring at 38 years old mwahahhah. Ne ways that's a lil about me lol

Ok, I am going to throw out something a little unorthodox. At 6', 5" and 4 bills you are a full on clydesdale. I'm 6' and 250 myself, so I probably have a somewhat similar frame. Mindy you that I am NO muscle man, but I am quite barrel chested. As a result, one piece cow wrapping DOES NOT WORK FOR ME. I have to go with two piece, because my waist is 38-40, but my chest is 50-52.

Soooooooo ....... my solution was to buy a nice set of pants from CycleGear and match them up to a jacket off ebay. If you expect your size to change, then that might be a particularly good option as the pants will likely still work for you even after losing a fair bit of weight. Once you slim down, the jacket could get baggy. At only $99 it is not a lot to invest into decent riding leather and you could possibly sell it off once you shrink down. Below is a thread I started, regarding my jacket purchase.

Bud has sold off the Clydesdales. I guess the next best choice then would be Poland Chinas.

The Top Gear Leathers told me they could build me a custom suit for between $450 and $500. Rigth now I'm 6' 1" and about 315lbs. My normal fighting weight is about 285. I took the year off from playing hockey due to finances and I went to shit. I can get back to that weight pretty easy, but my goal is to get down to 235-245 in the long run to start racing club.

I found a Teknic 1 piece suit in a Euro 62 and 64/American 52 and 54. The problem is not my chest or waist though. I have tree trunks for thighs and they are usually the problem for off the shelf suits.

Lean isn't quite the word to describe me.... ever. It does keep me in shape while playing though, and motivates me to stay in some semblance of "in shape" in the off season. Its kind of funny that most people are fit and sexy in the summer and slack in the winter. Us puck players are most fit in the dead of winter and slack off in the summer. Most of my friends laugh at that fact.

I graduate college in 3 weeks. I already have a new set of fitness blades on order to arrive in a week. My last class is on a thursday night. The following monday morning begins my goal to get back in shape for hockey in the fall, to trim down enough to buy a 1 piece leather suit for track days (non-custom), and eventually get down to my target weight of 235 for racing a Ninja 500 next summer.....
