    Hi all
I have a 5th generation in red, the fairing and other plastics are intact but with the usual battle scars and scraps, not too bad as to warrant a re spray but looking in need of some TLC
What do the rest of you use or suggest I can use to polish and restore the lustre back, there’s bound to be some old school gems out there or even some showroom tricks to learn.
    Thanks in advance.
    Gerald

I use this when I think it warrants more than their Cleaner / Wax.

Follow up with a high quality sealer. I tend to stay away from paste waxes, as they tend to get stuck it crevices and hard to get off adjacent plastic.

Admittedly I am a detail chemical try anything junkie... ... Anything Meguires is great stuff.

If the paint really needs help, I prefer.. but with a caveat, its paint on plastic, so go slow, and be carefull to not go too far...

    Alternate stuff...
I stumbled on to this surface polish, and wow, I really like it for a pre-finish polish cleaner.

Also, that Auto geek site is really good....and I find them very focused on customer service.

Then you need to make sure you are using quality microfibre towel stuff.
    A good source...

Then for finish wax/sealant stuff.... Again, I have screwed around with a lot of stuff.... but recently Turtle wax, Hybrid Solutions stuff is very good....
The ceramic and then the Graphene wax is incredible....

If you need to dig deeper, there is plenty of detailing work steps that can be done....

Bike Spirits? A few of these and then the old girl looks great from any angle including lying on the floor...

It's the same formula as Honda Spray Cleaner polish, but a better value. Fucking great stuff.

It used to BE the Honda polish, before Honda screwed the Georgia supplier and went in a different direction with someone else. (Something about the spray chemicals.)
The Bike Spirits guys decided to sell it themselves and Original was born.

I do like it to for the dirty stuff and a quick clean up. Great for wheels too...
